Four books in and every cover has been the same. Words. Font sizes. Safe.

This one can’t be that.

This book is different from anything I’ve written, and I realized the cover has to match that. Which means doing something I’ve never done before — and it’s making me uncomfortable in a way I wasn’t expecting.

I also made a decision about how I’m crediting this one that feels like a line I can’t uncross.

None of this would fly with a traditional publisher. Which is exactly why I’m not using one.
